Lately, I’m feeling sappy for no reason at all. Well, there is a reason but, I’ve been through it some years ago, but now it seems harder to let go. I recently bought Hachikuro: The Movie, Dororo and Proposal Daisakusen at a video shop. I wanted to buy Byakkotai and Kindaichi at first, but, unfortunately Byakottai only available in Chinese subs and Kindaichi is out of stock.

After I watched Hachikuro, I don’t understand what the fuss surrounding the movie about Morita played by Yusuke Iseya looking older. At first, I was slightly disturbed by the fact that Morita seems…cooler. Err…; Morita doesn’t suppose to look cool. But, later on, I found that my heart thump harder each time I saw him in that movie. In the anime, I was just smiling to my ears whenever I saw him because of his idiotic, foolish, silly act. But, in the movie, I just seem to have a crush on him. I was squealing when Morita and Hagu paint together in front of everyone (he’s an ikemen!~) and had all the fun in the world, and the beach scene is so beautiful and when he took Hagu hands and burns his sculpture with her, it’s so…indescribably romantic.

And I kept ignoring Takemoto who was played by Sakurai Sho. I was rather impressed by myself, because I bought the DVD to watch Sho in action. But, instead, I kept supporting Hagu X Morita and completely ignored him. He doesn’t look to mellow in the movie, maybe because there’s nothing mentioned about his father. While, I still felt the same sympathy when I watch Yamada and Mayama as when I first watched the anime. Yamada is less energetic in the movie, to compare with the ‘Tetsujin Yamada’ in the anime who was so active and tough. In the movie, she looks like she will burst into tears anytime. I think I wanted to smack both of them, when Yamada told Mayama to work back at Harada Design.

Shuji, hmmm…, he doesn’t play a vital role in the movie. While, Rika look really similar to the manga and anime version. But, I think the producer left out the fact that Rika had an injury at her leg.

There are funny scene, when Mayama is constantly arrested because stalking Rika. The policeman who investigated him is funny! Not to mention that Nakamura Shidou also make a cameo appearance in the movie.

All in all, it’s a different story than the manga and the anime, but I still find myself enjoying it in the end. It stopped at where the 1st season of the anime ending took off; Takemoto confessed to Hagu after going on a ridiculous journey riding his blue bicycle, but in a different location. While Morita went to other country, after burning his priceless sculpture, maybe running off from the Fujiwara brothers. And, Takemoto started working at the construction site while Mayama started working back at Harada’s. I think it’ll be more interesting if they’d given more attention to Shuji and bringing out Nomiya to kill Mayama out of his sense.

i kinda dissapointed when uchi and kusano got 'suspended' last year because of underage drinking and made the whole group suspended..well, i'm not a true fan of NewS but certainly i hate it cause PinKy Uchi was on the blame..

But, I got to admit that NewS material get even better when the two left...I personally hate their old mushy lovey-dovey songs, but I enjoy Hadashi no Cinderella Boy, Sayaendou and Hoshi wo Mezashite..it seems that they finally figured out their song path..Even yamapi said that he cherish NewS better after the suspension and I'll hope it lasts..

and, why in the world hey pair yamapi with tesshi?! Tesshi is for massu and massu is for tesshi..i really can't understand those at johnny's...

it get worst when bakajin is not at KAT-TUN...

anyway, can they have a lil' sympathy for ryo-chan? he seems to skinny lately, must be the effect of uchi's absence...
